ACING THE ACT 2024!
This course is designed to introduce students to the ACT exam, the more student-friendly, paper-and-pencil college entrance exam that is time-tested and accepted by all colleges and universities throughout the United States. The ACT can be taken in conjunction with the SAT or as a non-digital, non-adaptive alternative.
Cindy Kaplan (experienced math teacher/test prep tutor/college advisor) is President of Kaplan Tutoring Services Inc. and is the technical editor of 1,001 ACT Practice Questions for Dummies and English Grammar for Dummies among others. She will introduce general test-taking and reading strategies, while providing a thorough review of grammar and math concepts.
A maximum class size of 15 students will provide more personalized instruction.
Note: This course will prepare students to take the December 14th (seniors) or February 8th (juniors) ACT. Students/Parents must register for the ACT at www.act.org on their own. Students who require Extended Time accommodations must make these arrangements with their school guidance office.
Textbook and materials: The textbook, The Official ACT Prep Guide 2024-2025 by Wiley, and other materials will be provided by the course.

FEE: $400 (includes a $13 nonrefundable processing fee)
