All watercraft stickers will be mailed to paid applicants.
Storage of Small Watercraft
Storage at both the Beach and Walker Farm are first come, first serve.
Storage space cannot be reserved specifically for the kayak racks
Walker Farm: - Kayaks, canoes and paddleboards Only. No Boats.
Barrington Beach(West): -Kayaks, paddleboards, canoes and small boats
Walker Farm - 50 kayaks maximum storage capacity
Kayaks, canoes, and paddleboards may be stored on the racks and along the wooden rail that runs North to South. Please utilize the most Southern area first as the town anticipates construction will begin on the North end during the summer.
Barrington Beach - 65 kayaks maximum storage capacity - 10 boats maximum storage capacity
Permits are only valid for Barrington Residents.
Fees are not refundable
Stickers must be affixed to the watercraft in a visible location that won't be submerged during use.
The small watercraft storage season at both the Barrington Beach and Walker Farm ends on November 30th.
Any watercraft left on the beach or at Walker Farm after November 30th will be removed and subject to a retrieval fee and/or auction. If no permit was obtained for the season, there will also be a permit charge.
Watercraft stored on Barrington Beach must be stored on the West End behind the boat storage sign. Boats must be stored with the mast down.
All boats and kayaks must be off the seagrass per RI State Law.
Watercraft stored at both Barrington Beach and Walker Farm may be chained and locked to the wooden rack or to the wooden rail for safe storage.
