Its slow fluid movements and emphasis on relaxation and internal softening make it an ideal exercise for people of all ages. Our instructor, Bob McManus (Provtaichi.com), has been a student and teacher of the Yeung style of Tai Chi for over 30 years. WINTER PICKLEBALL 101: Pickleball is a court sport played on a badminton-sized court. It is played with a perforated plastic ball similar to a whiffle ball and composite or wooden paddles about twice the size of ping-pong paddles. It is played on a court that is about 1/3 the size of a normal tennis court. The USA Pickleball Association currently estimates there are over 2 million people actively playing pickleball in America. Many children and teenagers play it in physical education classes in middle and high schools. Seniors enjoy it as well.
