SLEEP ON THE BEACH CAMPOUT!
Join your neighbors for a community campout at the Barrington Beach!
DETAILS:
WHO: Open to all; advance registration is required.
**60 tent maximum; max 6 people (adults and children) per tent**
WHEN: Saturday, September 7, 2024 to Sunday, September 8, 2024
ARRIVAL & SETUP: Saturday, September 7th from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM
COST:$15 per tent
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:
SATURDAY, SEPT 7
5:00 – 6:30 PM Check in and set up your own tents; dinner – order from local pizza places**
5:00 – 7:45 PM Spend time with neighbors; self-organized games and activities
SUNSET: Lighting of the fire pits
8:15 – 9:45 PM S’mores and community gatherings
SUNDAY, SEPT 8
6:00 – 8:30 AM Breakfast and Coffee (coffee will be available on site)
8:30 – 9:00 AM Tents taken down and everything packed up
RULES AND REGULATIONS:
Registration is done by tent. The person registering is included in your count of 6.
People under age 18 must attend with a legal guardian.
4 fire pits will be allowed at designated spots. These spots will be noted by a stake in the sand. Fire pits are not allowed anywhere else on the site. If you plan to bring a fire pit and/or fire wood to share at the event, you can indicate that with your registration.
No alcohol, tobacco (smokeless/vape or otherwise), illicit drugs or related products.
No swimming after sunset; always at your own risk (no lifeguard on duty).
This is a family-friendly event; please be mindful of your language, games and apparel.
You must provide your own tent, camping gear, dinner, s’mores supplies, and snacks. We will provide sticks for marshmallows and a Keurig and coffee pods for AM coffee.
Be respectful of the neighbors who live within earshot.
If possible, avoid bringing single-use plastic or Styrofoam containers.
