SUMMER THEATRE CAMP2024

SESSION 1

This fun and accepting 3-week camp is appropriate for all levels of theater experience! Campers learn about and develop skills through games and workshops, and rehearse shows that are performed at the end of the session. The workshops explore their subjects (like movement or character development) in more broad terms, allowing newer campers to learn while affording more experienced campers freedom to be creative as they continue to hone their skills in those areas. Shows selected typically contain a broad variety of roles for actors of all ages and ability levels. 

WHO: Campers ages 8-18 years old*

WHERE: Barrington Middle School, 261 Middle Highway, Barrington, RI

FEE: $600 (includes a $15 nonrefundable processing fee)

WHEN: July 1st - July 19th (no camp July 4th), 8:00am-3:00pm

PERFORMANCE: The evening of July 19th at the Barrington Public Library

Additional Information:

• Please pack a bagged lunch
• With notice, we can accommodate any camper who wishes to be a technician for the production, rather than an actor. We do ask that they still participate in games and workshops.
