SLEEP ON THE BEACH CAMPOUT!
Join your neighbors for a community campout at the Barrington Beach! We'll have lawn and beach games, sing-a-longs, and of course, s'mores!
DETAILS:
WHO: Open to all; advance registration is required
WHEN: Saturday, May 21, 2022 through Sunday, May 22nd
ARRIVAL & SET-UP: Saturday, May 21st; from 5:00-6:30 PM
CLEAN-UP: Sunday, May 22nd by 9 AM
COST: $20 per tent***
Schedule of events:
Saturday 5/21:
5:00-6:30pm - Check in and set up your own tents
5:00-7:45pm - Spend time with neighbors; self-organized games and activities (feel free to bring your own).
SUNSET - Lighting of the fire pits
8:15-9:45pm - S'mores and sing-a-long
Sunday 5/22:
6:30am - Coffee and muffins available
9:00am - Tents taken down and packed up
RULES AND REGULATIONS:
*Registration is done by tent. The person registering is included in your count of 6. If you have more than 6 people in your group, contact Jacob to discuss multiple tents or an oversized spot.
*People under age 18 must attend with a legal guardian.
*No Alcohol, tobacco (smokeless/vape or otherwise), illicit drugs or related products.
*No swimming after sunset; always at your own risk (no lifeguard on duty).
*This will be a family-friendly event; please be mindful of your language, games and apparel.
*You must provide your own tent and camping gear.
*Bathrooms and showers will be available.
*Campers may bring food.
*Please be respectful of the neighbors who live within earshot.
*If possible, kindly avoid bringing single-use plastic or Styrofoam containers.
