Intro to Self Defense for Women

The potentially lifesaving information presented in this class covers basic hand techniques, grab defenses and strikes. Attendees will also be taught the “Fundamentals of Defending and Escaping”, “Getting to the Outside” and “Situational Awareness 101”. We will discuss and practice the concepts of “Run, Hide, Fight”, part of the Department of Homeland Security’s active shooter response program.

WHO: Open to women 16 years old and over

WHERE: Peck Center, 281 County Road, Barrington

WHEN: One time class will be held Monday, October 25th 5:00-7:30pm

FEE: $85 (includes a nonrefundable processing fee)
